A Better Webcam Can't Fix Every Bad Video Call

Both promise 1080p calls. Logitech C920x adjusts focus as you move; EMEET C960 uses a wider fixed-focus view, includes a physical cover and supplies a USB-C adapter.

30-second verdict

Choose the Logitech C920x if your distance from the camera changes during calls or demonstrations and you want autofocus. Choose the EMEET C960 Updated if a wide 90° view, included physical privacy cover and USB-A-to-C adapter fit your desk better; keep yourself within its stated fixed-focus range. Both exact new US offers were in stock with Prime delivery and working purchase controls for Wilmington 19804. The C920x lacks a shutter, and EMEET's product text conflicts about game-console support, so do not buy the C960 specifically for a console without checking current compatibility. The two listings' 10K+ monthly purchase labels are transaction signals, not an overall sales ranking.

C920x HD Pro Webcam

Black · 1 Pack · 1080P/30 fps · ASIN B085TFF7M1
$69.99 new offer checked 24 Sep 2026

The exact listing specifies 1080p at 30 fps, autofocus, dual stereo microphones and automatic light correction. Autofocus can be useful when you lean forward or briefly hold something up, though we did not measure focus speed or image quality. This C920x option has no privacy shutter, so use a separate cover if a visible physical block matters. Matching-option review feedback mentions easy setup and useful autofocus while noticing that missing cover. The checked new offer was sold and shipped by Amazon.com, with Prime delivery shown.

SmartCam C960 Updated

1080P Updated · ASIN B0DSPJPRXD
$28.49 new offer checked 24 Sep 2026

The selected listing describes 1080p video, a 90° wide view, fixed focus for roughly 30–300 cm, two microphones, a physical cover and an included USB-A-to-C adapter. A wide view can include a second person or whiteboard, but also exposes more of the room. Fixed focus asks you to stay within the specified range; it is not a demonstrated sharpness advantage. Matching-option feedback mentions easy installation and broad framing. The seller was EMEET Direct and Amazon shipped the new Prime offer. The page's console compatibility statements conflict, so rely on confirmed computer video-call support.

What we researched

Amazon US results surfaced several true 1080p webcams, along with duplicate styles and generic listings. We selected one exact C920x and one exact C960 Updated offer from different manufacturers. Each listing showed 10K+ bought in the past month; the Logitech page displayed 22,013 global ratings and the EMEET page 2,560. These live listing figures can change and may reflect option groupings. The practical buying question is how you sit and move on a call: Logitech changes focus, while EMEET frames more of the room at a fixed focus distance and includes the physical cover and A-to-C adapter shown for the selected option.

Key findings

Focus matters when your distance changes

A webcam focused for a seated face may not handle a close object the same way. Logitech lists autofocus for this exact C920x option; EMEET lists a fixed range. If you frequently hold products or notes toward the lens, that difference matters more than both boxes saying 1080p.

High

A wider camera changes what coworkers see

EMEET's 90° field can bring another person or more of a whiteboard into a call, but it also shows more background. Check your physical desk space and test the app preview before assuming wider is better.

High

Check the ports and cover before the first meeting

EMEET's selected option includes an A-to-C adapter and a physical lens cover. The selected C920x has no shutter. On a USB-C-only laptop, budget for an adapter if you choose Logitech and confirm the cable path at your desk.
