Your Mouse Should Be Quiet. Should It Also Free a USB Port?

Trust Yuki and Logitech M240 both keep clicks quiet, but one needs a USB-A receiver and the other pairs by Bluetooth. That difference changes which laptop each suits.

30-second verdict

Choose the Trust Yuki if your computer has a free USB-A port and you want a compact silent-click mouse with a receiver that stores inside it, a battery in the box and two pointer-speed settings. Choose the Logitech M240 if your laptop has Bluetooth but few spare ports, and you prefer pairing without carrying a receiver. Both selected new UK offers were in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon with active purchase buttons and delivery to the checked London postcode. Neither selected buy box displayed a Prime badge, so check eligibility at your own address. The more useful distinction is the connection and port you will use every day, rather than the £6 price gap.

Yuki Silent Wireless Mouse

Single 2.4 GHz Wireless · New Black · ASIN B0CQ8TWP89

£6.99 checked 24 Sep 2026

A small USB-A receiver is stored in the mouse for travel. The two pointer-speed settings switch between 800 and 1600 DPI; a supplied AA cell gets it running. Silent left and right buttons suit a shared room, though the reviewed feedback notes that the wheel itself is less quiet.

M240 Silent Bluetooth Mouse

Gray/Graphite · ASIN B07W6HCFYX

£12.99 checked 24 Sep 2026

It pairs directly over Bluetooth, leaving USB-A free and removing a small receiver from the travel checklist. Logitech describes silent clicks, an ambidextrous compact body and an included AA cell. Its 18-month runtime is a brand estimate, not a promise for every use pattern.

What we researched

Amazon UK's wireless-mouse results were used to screen several makers. The exact Trust Yuki New Black 2.4 GHz and Logitech M240 Gray/Graphite Bluetooth listings were then checked, including selected options, new stock, Amazon seller and shipper, purchase buttons and delivery to a London postcode. Each showed 5K+ bought in the past month. Their 10,618 and 8,695 review totals are global listing figures that may include other variants. Reviewed feedback below matches the selected options. Neither selected offer displayed a Prime badge in its buy box.

Key findings

The free USB port is the main difference

Trust Yuki needs its USB-A receiver. The M240 pairs by Bluetooth, which is simpler for a laptop with few full-size USB ports. Conversely, a computer without Bluetooth may be easier to use with Trust's receiver.

High

Silent clicks do not make every sound disappear

Both makers advertise quieter buttons. Matching Trust feedback likes its quiet clicks but mentions that the scroll wheel can still be heard. If wheel noise matters, check that separately from button noise.

Medium

Battery estimates depend on use

Trust estimates up to 12 months and Logitech up to 18 months from an AA cell. Those are manufacturer estimates under unspecified day-to-day use; each selected offer includes a battery, so neither needs a first-day accessory purchase.
