Choose the Anker 341 A9183 if a five-foot lead reaches your outlet and you need eight AC sockets plus built-in phone charging. Its USB-C port can provide up to 20W alone, but USB-C and USB-A ports share 15W when used together. Choose the Belkin BE106000-08R if six AC sockets are enough and an eight-foot cord with a swivelling flat plug solves a real furniture-placement problem. Their stated 2,000J and 720J ratings describe different tested designs, not guaranteed outcomes in a storm; neither adds circuit capacity or protects against a direct lightning strike. White-variant feedback mentions fitting the flat plug behind furniture and leaving room for multiple plugs; it does not assess protection. The Anker listing showed 400+ bought in the past month and 2,583 global ratings; Belkin showed 100+ and 6,147. Those changing figures describe selected listings, not market share or an overall sales ranking, and ratings may pool other colours or cord options. The meaningful difference is AC outlet count plus USB charging versus a longer cord and rotating wall plug.

Anker's built-in USB can clear charging bricks off a crowded desk, but combining its ports shares 15W. Belkin's six AC sockets have to accommodate any phone adapters too. Decide from the actual items on your desk.
