30-second verdict

Choose Oral-B Pro 300 Sensitive if you want a small round head, one straightforward gentle setting and a familiar charging base. Choose Philips Sonicare 2100 HX3661/04 if you prefer a slim sonic head, 30-second pacing and a USB charger you can use with an adapter you already own. Both checked Canadian offers were new, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.ca, with working purchase buttons. The Philips costs more upfront, but the head system and charging setup are the differences to live with after checkout. Neither brush was independently tested against the other.

2100 Series

White HX3661/04 · ASIN B09LD8PTNJ

CAD32.95 new offer checked 24 Sep 2026

The 2100 uses a slim sonic head and the Amazon listing describes two intensity settings plus EasyStart, which gradually raises power as you get used to brushing. Its SmarTimer runs two minutes and QuadPacer cues each 30-second area. Philips states up to 14 days per charge under its use assumptions; that is a specification, not our endurance test. The checked box includes one C1 SimplyClean head and USB charger, but no wall adapter. Sonicare 2100 feedback mentions the light handle, simple button and timer; its colour was not identified in that review. The selected new offer was in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon.ca.

What we researched

These are two current Canadian listings for different manufacturers and brush systems. The selected Oral-B page showed 3K+ bought in the past month and 5,252 reviews; the Philips page showed 1K+ and 5,002. Those labels are changing signals for these Amazon listings, not Canadian market share or proof that one cleans better. Rating totals may combine styles or other grouped options. We did not conduct a brushing, battery or clinical test.

Key findings

Pick the head shape you will actually use

Oral-B's compact round head and Philips' slim sonic head ask for different hand movements. The selected listings and maker pages establish those designs, but they do not establish a head-to-head cleaning winner for your mouth.

High

Pacing is a practical difference

Both offer a two-minute routine. Philips also documents 30-second QuadPacer cues and lists EasyStart for people adjusting to sonic brushing; Oral-B keeps this offer simpler with a Sensitive setting. Choose the cues you will follow consistently.

High

The refill and power setup outlive today's price

Both boxes start with one head. Check replacement-head compatibility and local prices before buying. The Philips uses USB charging without a wall adapter, while the Oral-B box includes a charging base; Philips' 14-day battery number is a maker claim under specified use.

Matching-option owner review

Amazon Canada · Sensitive-style Oral-B feedbackA five-star verified Canadian review dated 10 August 2026 and marked Style: Sensitive mentions the gentle setting, two-minute timer and compact charging base. The owner's perceived cleaning and dentist comments are not treated as measured health results.

Matching-model owner review

Amazon Canada · Sonicare 2100 owner feedbackA five-star verified Canadian review dated 18 July 2026 explicitly names the Sonicare 2100 and mentions a light handle, simple button and timer. The review does not state the colour, so its comments are used only for model-level features, not colour-specific quality.

Method
On 24 September 2026 we screened Best Sellers-sorted Amazon Canada search results, then opened both exact ASIN pages and confirmed selected variants, new stock, Amazon.ca seller and shipping, Balzac delivery, and Add to cart and Buy Now. Prime eligibility for these exact offers was not independently confirmed. We checked the Oral-B and Philips Canada model pages, Philips support, one five-star Canadian review marked Sensitive for the Oral-B, and one five-star Canadian review explicitly naming the Sonicare 2100; the latter did not identify colour, so no colour-specific conclusion was drawn. Review comments describe feedback present, not a measured trend. Aggregate ratings may pool options, and purchase labels describe only the selected listings. Product selection was independent of affiliate availability. As an Amazon Associate, buypick may earn from qualifying purchases; the product buttons open the exact Amazon.ca product pages.
