A Vertical Mouse for Long Desk Days: Is the Extra Flexibility Useful?

Logitech Lift and Anker's vertical mouse both change your grip. Bluetooth, hand sizing, battery setup and the seller behind the offer make the more useful differences.

30-second verdict

Choose Logitech Lift if you have a small or medium right hand and want Bluetooth as well as the included Logi Bolt receiver, quieter clicks and a wheel that changes scrolling pace. Choose the Anker if you want a simpler vertical mouse with a USB-A receiver, three pointer-speed settings and a much lower entry price. Both exact Canadian listings were in stock with active purchase buttons. Lift was sold and shipped by Amazon.ca and showed Prime delivery; Anker was sold by AnkerDirect-CA, fulfilled by Amazon, and showed local delivery without a Prime badge on the checked offer. Neither mouse is a treatment for wrist pain, and the best grip still depends on your hand and desk setup.

What we researched

Amazon Canada's wireless-mouse search was used to screen several manufacturers, then the exact right-handed Graphite Logitech Lift and black Anker A7852 offers were checked. Both were new and in stock with Add to cart and Buy Now. Lift was sold and shipped by Amazon.ca with a Prime delivery indication. Anker was sold by AnkerDirect-CA and fulfilled by Amazon; the selected buy box showed delivery to the Canadian postal code, but no Prime badge. Search and detail pages showed 1K+ and 500+ past-month purchase labels respectively. Lift's 13,687 and Anker's 13,939 global rating totals may include other variants; the cited Lift feedback matches its selected option.

Key findings

The connection choice may matter more than the price gap

Lift can pair by Bluetooth, leaving a USB-A port free, or use its bundled Logi Bolt receiver. The Anker depends on its USB-A receiver. Check your laptop ports before choosing a vertical shape.

High

Check the right hand and the right buttons

The Lift listing is the Graphite right-handed version; Logitech sells a separate left-handed Lift. Anker's own page says its back/forward thumb buttons are not recognized on Mac OS X. The Anker is therefore a weaker fit if those Mac shortcuts are essential.

High

Expect an adjustment period

Reviewed Anker feedback mentions adapting to a bulkier vertical body before the button placement felt natural. Matching Lift feedback mentions a comfortable grip and quiet clicks. Neither review proves a medical benefit or predicts every hand's comfort.
