The Flosser You Can Live With Beats One Left in the Cupboard

A cordless flosser is only convenient until the tank empties or the spray hits the mirror. These two UK models trade a simpler, smaller routine for more water and more control.

30-second verdict

Choose the Waterpik Cordless Pulse WF-20EUK if you want a straightforward low/high switch, a smaller handle and a tongue-cleaner tip. Choose the Philips Sonicare HX3826/33 if a 250 ml tank, two flow modes, three intensities and two nozzle patterns are worth the larger unit. Waterpik states up to 45 seconds of water, while Philips rates its reservoir for a 60-second clean; those are maker figures, not guarantees for every user. The exact white Waterpik and black Philips UK offers were new, in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon with active buying controls. Check the Philips charging lead carefully: the maker specifies USB-A to a small appliance plug, not a USB-C socket on the handle.

Cordless Pulse White

WF-20EUK · White · ASIN B0DY83BVXY
£35.99 new offer checked 24 Sep 2026

Its low/high slide switch avoids a mode menu. The removable tank is specified for up to 45 seconds of flow, so a longer pass may need a refill. The selected UK offer includes a precision tip and tongue-cleaner tip, rather than two identical jets. The body is waterproof, but the charging contacts and cable still require the maker's dry-handling guidance. Review feedback on the matching white option mentions a strong low setting and splashing at the sink, so begin on low before turning up the flow. The new offer was sold and shipped by Amazon.

Cordless Power Flosser 3000 Black

HX3826/33 · Black · ASIN B0CN3D1PJB
£62.99 new offer checked 24 Sep 2026

The 250 ml tank is specified for a recommended 60-second clean. Clean mode provides a continuous stream; Deep Clean pulses, and three intensity levels tune the feel. The F1 standard and F3 Quad Stream nozzles provide different patterns, and a pouch is included. Philips lists a USB-A to small-plug charging cable and USB-A wall adapter. The small plug is not USB-C, a distinction that matters when packing a charger. Matching black-option review feedback mentions easy filling, the two nozzle choices and controls. The new offer was sold and shipped by Amazon.

What we researched

Both exact UK offers were sold and shipped by Amazon with stock and working purchase buttons. The Waterpik listing showed 1K+ bought in the past month and 1,515 global ratings; the Philips showed 742 global ratings, but no recent-purchase count on the checked detail page. These signals describe the listings, not UK market share or sales positions, and the rating totals may pool variants. We did not measure cleaning outcomes, pressure, battery life or noise.

Key findings

A longer tank can save a pause

Waterpik advertises up to 45 seconds of water, while Philips specifies 250 ml for a recommended 60-second clean. If your routine is slow or involves braces, judge whether refilling once is acceptable. Neither figure guarantees your own flow time.

High

The nozzles solve different small jobs

The Waterpik includes a tongue-cleaner tip as well as a precision jet. Philips includes two water-jet patterns instead. The accessory count alone hides that distinction.

High

Pack the right charging lead

Philips officially names a USB-A to small-plug cable, despite some reviewers expecting USB-C on the device. Check the included cable and wall adapter before relying on the flosser away from home. Waterpik's listing names a USB cable; inspect the plug in the current package.
